Ismet Gelen worked at the University of Leeds on the investigation of Moiré physics in ferromagnetic semimetal FGT(Fe3GeTe2)/TI(topological insulator) superlattices, with Satoshi Sasaki.

He left the project in February 2026, and is now an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kastamonu University, Türkiye.

Mae Jankowski worked at the University of Leeds under the supervision of Andrew Bell, Thomas Moore and Philippa Shepley. Her work looked at optimised pulsed laser deposition (PLD) of xBiFeO3-(1-x)PbTiO3 (BFPT) thin films at compositions around the morphotropic phase boundary (x=0.70).

Mae left the project in June 2026, and is now working at Hephaestus Technologies as a research scientist.
