Consortium meeting at University of Leeds
The University of Leeds hosted the latest CAMIE Consortium Meeting on 21-22 April, bringing together researchers from across the programme for two days of scientific exchange and discussion.
The meeting opened with talks by three invited speakers:
- An Introduction to Crystal Symmetry, Joe Barker
- Progress and Continuing Challenges for Physics in Inclusion and Diversity, Helen Gleeson
- An Introduction to Scanning Probe Microscopy for Multiferroics, Amr Abdelsamie
These were followed by research updates from consortium members, highlighting recent progress, emerging ideas, and plans for the next stages of the programme.
The second day continued with further research presentations by early career researchers, along with progress updates from work package leaders. Strong engagement and discussion throughout the meeting reflected the collaborative and interdisciplinary nature of the CAMIE consortium.
Following a closed meeting between the ECR representatives and three members of the Advisory Board, the Advisory Board met to discuss the project and subsequently provided valuable feedback to the Leadership Team.
