Kick-off meeting, University of Leeds

The first consortium meeting of the CAMIE project took place on 3-4 September 2024, at the Bragg Centre for Materials Research, Bragg Building, University of Leeds.

The vision of the project was explained and each participating institution talked about their facilities and how they will contribute to CAMIE. Specialist training was also given for the ECRs, focussing on different scientific aspects of the project.

This was the first time the early career researchers met each other and project members in person. They introduced themselves, discussed how their work fits into CAMIE, and explained any results they have achieved.
